HubSpot has had a lot of changes in 2020. You can now directly manage ads via HubSpot, there are a bunch of new ABM features and some major HubSpot CMS updates. Stay tuned to find out more.
Let’s start with HubSpot’s new account-based marketing features. This has been a requested feature for a lot of our clients so it’s fantastic to see it finally come into fruition.
Account-Based Marketing or ABM is a focused strategy where a business targets high-value accounts that have multiple stakeholders in the purchasing decision. ABM has been a popular marketing strategy amongst B2B marketers for a while, it was something that was lacking in HubSpot but not anymore. HubSpot’s new ABM features include:
- A new Target Accounts Homepage. Here you’re able to monitor activity for important accounts including whether or not they have open tasks, scheduled calls or recent emails.
- And of course, powerful new ABM reporting dashboard options
The new ABM features offer game-changing opportunities for HubSpot users that have been struggling in the past to make the associations between contacts, companies and deals. These new functionalities are truly going to give marketing and sales teams better collaboration when working on those bigger deals.
Let’s move onto the new and improved HubSpot CMS or content management system. You may have noticed some fancy new features now available in your landing and website page builders recently.
For HubSpot CMS Hub Professional and Enterprise users, there have been some very exciting updates to the functionalities.
Some of these updates include:
- Themes, which HubSpot have developed 7 pre-built use themes which allow us, marketers, to easily update the look and feel of the entire website without having to dive into stylesheets
- Another really cool feature of the CMS updates is for those of you used to using a website which commonly needs plugins or themes updated – the HubSpot CMS looks after all of this, meaning we have little to no downtime on website maintenance
- There are also a bunch of other really cool and way more techy updates which in a nutshell makes hosting, developing and editing your website in HubSpot an absolute dream
And finally, the updated Ads Management functionalities in HubSpot are an improved way of managing your Google ads directly out of your HubSpot portal. So, you don’t have to be switching between the two platforms.
For marketing hub professional and enterprise users, you can do things like:
- Add new keywords to your campaigns
- And you can easily identify which ads are generating qualified leads then extended that ad directly in HubSpot never having to leave the platform
- So for example, if I can see that one of my ads has brought in 20 new qualified leads contributing to an increased revenue I can easily choose to extend that campaign and perhaps pause one of the others that aren’t performing as well.
- And lastly, because this is integrated seamlessly with the HubSpot CRM, you can create a smart list which will pull through any contacts that converted on your google ads. Making reporting on your Google ads a whole lot easier
